The Process
- Discuss with the customer why they would like to commission the making of a stained glass window.
- With close collaboration with the customer design the window according to their wishes until they are completely happy with it.
- Draw up the full size cut line of the window.
- Cut the glass.
- Paint and fire the glass if necessary.
- Lead up the window.
- Solder all the joints.
- Cement and waterproof the window.
- Clean off and prepare the window for installation.
- Install the window into the opening in the appropriate way in line with all the conservation bodies.
